MY TRIP TO HAWAII

I just came back to New York on Tuesday morning from the amazing trip to Hawaii with my family. This was the greatest start of the year I've ever had and became a unforgettable experience for me. We planed to stay there a week since we wanted to enjoy beautiful weather and nature in Hawaii.

年明けに家族でハワイ旅行に行ってきました！いままで過ごしてきたお正月で１番心に残る素敵な思い出になりました。１週間ほど滞在し、ゆっくりとハワイの過ごしやすい気候と美しい自然を楽しんできました。

I stayed mostly in Honolulu where is the most popular place to visit and it's like a best shopping area with a beautiful beach next to the street. My hotel was right next to the Diamond Head and also Waikiki beach, so I had a great view from my room everyday. The famous shopping places are mostly on Kalakaua Ave and you can just walk around to visit.

オアフ島で１番有名な地域・観光地であるホノルルにあるホテルに滞在しました。ショッピングが楽しめることで人気のある地域ですが、メインストリートのカラカウカ・アベニューのすぐ横にワイキキビーチがあります。たくさんのお店やモールが集まっていますが、歩いて回れる距離にあるのでとても便利です。

My favorite place in Oahu was Kailua, Haleiwa and Hanauma Bay. Those places are little far from Honolulu, so you need a ride to get there. It took almost 2 hours to get Haleiwa, 1 hour to Kailua, and 40 min to Haleiwa for us.

ホテルが多くあるホノルルからは少し離れてしまいますが、今回訪れてとても気に入った地域”ハレイワ、カイルア、ハナウマ・ベイ”を紹介したいと思います。どこも車で１時間以上かかるエリアですが、ホノルルとは少し違ったハワイの雰囲気が味わえるエリアなので、ぜひ訪れてほしいと思います。

Haleiwa has a beautiful beach that is famous for surfing and also pretty traditional buildings. You can feel totally different side of Oahu and that's the reason why I liked the area.

ハレイワはホノルルから車で２時間ほどの場所にあり、サーフィンで有名なハレイワビーチが有名で昔ながらの可愛いお店が多くあるエリアです。ホノルルとは違い大自然を味わえるのでとてもオススメです。

Kailua beach is the most beautiful beach in Oahu in my opinion, and there's some cute boutiques in the city! You should definitely include this place in your trip plan.

ホノルルから１時間ほど離れたカイルアは”これぞ南国ハワイ！”と思わせる白い砂浜に透き通った海で有名な、カイルアビーチがあることで人気なエリアです。ホノルルにはないオシャレなお店も多いエリアなので、お土産探しに最適です。

If you are thinking to enjoy swimming, you should also think about visiting Hanauma Bay. You have to pay the fee for entering the beach since it is both a Nature Preserve and a Marine Life Conservation District, but it's so beautiful place that you can't miss.

ホノルルから車で４０分ほどで着くハナウマ・ベイは、保護地域に指定されているほど自然が多く、とても綺麗な海を楽しむことができます。他のビーチとは違い入場料がかかりますが、びっくりするほど綺麗なので訪れてほしいエリアです。

I've also visited the Honolulu Zoo and the Sea Life Park Hawaii. If you are thinking to get some organic foods or drinks, KCC Farmers Market will be very fun for you.

この他にはホノルル動物園やシーライフパークなどにも行きました。毎週土曜日の朝に行われるKCCファーマーズマーケットは、ハワイでとれた新鮮な食材が多くオーガニックフードを楽しむには最適です。
